The inspiration for the name Aldo's comes from a wine themed painting called "An Evening At The Ritz". The caricature portrayed in this work envisioned by famous post impressionist artist Aldo Luongo reflects a contented, fit, and health looking man, he calls the Hawk, who has lived a rich full life. "An Evening At The Ritz" created such a strong mental connection between the objectives of the Cascade Club, the social character of the bistro, and the goals of everyone to live a healthy, contented life, that it was decided to adopt the name Aldo's Mediterranean Bistro And Wine Bar.
